Bolgheri Vermentino DOC 2024 - Tenuta Guado al Tasso, Antinori: Why we like it

Tenuta Guado al Tasso is close to Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, in the middle of the so-called "Bolgherese amphitheatre": gentle hills surround a splendid plain, sloping gradually down to the sea and creating a micro climate with unique characteristics. Antinori has been making Vermentino here since 1996 and, thanks to the area's particular climatic conditions, this white wine always expresses itself with harmony and freshness. An enveloping, balanced and very pleasant white, perfect for accompanying the most diverse occasions.

Brand

A Heritage of Excellence since 1385

The Antinori family has been writing the history of Italian wine for 26 generations, masterfully balancing tradition and innovation. From the estates of Chianti Classico to Bolgheri, each label tells the story of a unique territory. The iconic Tignanello, the prestigious Solaia, and the elegant Cervaro della Sala bear witness to a quest for quality that has redefined Italian winemaking, bringing Tuscan wines to the top of the world.

Revolution and Contemporary Vision

Pioneers of Supertuscan wines, the Antinori family revolutionized the Italian wine scene by pushing beyond the limits of traditional appellations. The spectacular gravity-flow winery in Bargino, a masterpiece of sustainable architecture, perfectly symbolizes this philosophy: deep roots in the territory and a constant eye on the future, creating wines that are authentic expressions of terroir interpreted with contemporary sensibility.
