Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2022 - La Braccesca, Antinori: Why we like it

The beautiful La Braccesca estate stretches out over a total surface area of 420 hectares and is made up of two different entities: the historic company headquarters in the region of Montepulciano, and the other in Cortona with its 162 hectares of vineyards. The Antinori Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was first created in 1990 in the former an elegant and bold red wine that is aged in oak barrels for approximately 12 months before being aged for another year once bottled.

Brand

A Heritage of Excellence since 1385

The Antinori family has been writing the history of Italian wine for 26 generations, masterfully balancing tradition and innovation. From the estates of Chianti Classico to Bolgheri, each label tells the story of a unique territory. The iconic Tignanello, the prestigious Solaia, and the elegant Cervaro della Sala bear witness to a quest for quality that has redefined Italian winemaking, bringing Tuscan wines to the top of the world.

Revolution and Contemporary Vision

Pioneers of Supertuscan wines, the Antinori family revolutionized the Italian wine scene by pushing beyond the limits of traditional appellations. The spectacular gravity-flow winery in Bargino, a masterpiece of sustainable architecture, perfectly symbolizes this philosophy: deep roots in the territory and a constant eye on the future, creating wines that are authentic expressions of terroir interpreted with contemporary sensibility.
