Intense ruby red. The bouquet offers pleasant notes of red fruits, blueberries and raspberries followed by delicate woody aromas. On the palate it has a vibrant impact, closely related to the land. The tannins are gentle and noticeable, the aftertaste is fruity and the smoky aroma is enduring.

Pairings

Throughout the meal, an excellent accompaniment to second courses based on meat, especially when grilled. Perfect with the classic fiorentina T-bone steak.

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG "Villa Antinori" 2022 - Villa Antinori, Antinori: Why we like it

With the opening of the new spectacular winery in 2012 in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, the Antinori family wished to pay tribute to a historic brand of a wine with a long tradition: the first vintage was in fact 1928 and until 2000 it has represented the Chianti Classico Riserva par excellence. In 2010 Villa Antinori made a comeback and in 2011 finally found its home in the new winery. A red wine with great class, 60% matured in casks and the remainder in barriques before a light refining in the bottle.

Brand

A Heritage of Excellence since 1385

The Antinori family has been writing the history of Italian wine for 26 generations, masterfully balancing tradition and innovation. From the estates of Chianti Classico to Bolgheri, each label tells the story of a unique territory. The iconic Tignanello, the prestigious Solaia, and the elegant Cervaro della Sala bear witness to a quest for quality that has redefined Italian winemaking, bringing Tuscan wines to the top of the world.

Revolution and Contemporary Vision

Pioneers of Supertuscan wines, the Antinori family revolutionized the Italian wine scene by pushing beyond the limits of traditional appellations. The spectacular gravity-flow winery in Bargino, a masterpiece of sustainable architecture, perfectly symbolizes this philosophy: deep roots in the territory and a constant eye on the future, creating wines that are authentic expressions of terroir interpreted with contemporary sensibility.
