Tasting Notes

In the glass it has a beautiful very intense dark garnet red robe. On the nose, it boasts a range of aromas from ripe fruit, in particular blackberry, to nuances of vanilla. As soon as it hits the tongue it’s straight, tense and very pleasant. Very persistent on the finish.

Pairings

Perfect with traditional French red meat main courses, it’s excellent with game, as well.

On the palate it’ll become smoother over the years, also thanks to the fair amount of tannins developed during the refining phase.
