Valpolicella Ripasso Valpantena Superiore DOC 2021 - Costa Arènte

Intense ruby red to the eye. The nose releases fruity and sweet spice hints, with ripe cherries in evidence. The mouth is rich and inviting, with a warm and meaty sip, supported by a solid fresh-savoury structure.

It goes well with first courses with meat sauce, with roasted and stewed red and white meats. Try it with a stuffed guinea fowl in the oven.

Produced with the traditional Ripasso technique on Amarone skins, this Valpolicella DOC by Costa Arènte aged for a period of 9 months in Slavonian oak barrels. This process allows the wine to develop further taste-olfactory complexity and extractive richness, offering a generous, smooth and pleasant red, with great personality and a clear territorial imprint.
