Tasting Notes

This dark ruby red wine boasts notes of fruit including black cherry and prune that rest on aromas of violet with a spicy fragrant undertone. Whereas in the mouth, the fruitiness of the wine is highlighted by notes of nutmeg. This elegantly captivating wine features smooth, enjoyably persistent tannins.

“Angheli” is a smooth, elegant red wine that is derived from a careful selection of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes fermented in steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels for at least one year. Donnafugata’s Sicilian red, “Angheli” is a deep-hued smooth wine- a wonderful Sicilian version of a classic Bordeaux.
