Giallo paglierino. Si distinguono al naso profumi floreali, note di frutta gialla matura, echi fumé; al sorso è bilanciato, fresco e secco, di buona persistenza.

Interessante l'abbinamento con una selezione di formaggi a pasta molle; ottimo anche con secondi di pesce e carni bianche.

Langhe DOC Chardonnay "Ampelio" 2023 - Fontanafredda: Why we like it

Realizzato in Piemonte dalla cantina Fontanafredda, "Ampelio" è un vino bianco ottenuto da uve chardonnay in purezza, provenienti da vigne poste in terreni calcarei e ricchi di marne. In seguito alla vendemmia manuale, avviene la fermentazione per opera dei lieviti indigeni: segue l'affinamento di alcuni mesi, svolto in parte in acciaio e in parte in legno.
