Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2021 Magnum - Grattamacco

Dark ruby red, with a bouquet filled with intense fruity scents, accompanied by clear balsamic notes and brushwood. The well integrated wood offers an elegant smoky note on the finish. The impact is austere, with considerable freshness. The tannic structure and pleasant acidic perception accompany the long final persistence, where the savoury and mineral notes re-emerge clearly.

A great classic, one of the most important Bolgheri in the appellation, in terms of history and qualitative continuity. A red which comes from a 10-hecatre vineyard positioned 100 metres above sea-level, left to ferment in open conical wooden vats. It ages for 18 months in new and second-use barriques, before ageing in the bottle. The result is an elegant and intense wine of outstanding stature, characterised by constant fruity Mediterranean scents. Already extraordinary today, Grattamacco's Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2013 will continue to offer emotions as the years go by.
