PININO

Pinino is located in Montalcino, one of the oldest and most charming towns in the province of Siena and in the whole of Tuscany. Surrounded by walls, the historic town is dominated by the Fortress and the characteristic tower of the Palazzo dei Priori. The village stretches over rolling hills in the Val d'Orcia, with woods, vineyards and olive groves cultivated with the utmost care and respect for nature.

The Pinino winery is a small family-run estate that has been producing expressive and authentic wines since 1874. Undoubtedly favoured by the unique position of its vineyards, located on the hill of Montosoli, Pinino offers elegant and enveloping Tuscan red wines with a refined structure and good balance, an excellent example of the interpenetration of territorial tones and drinkability.

Purchased in 2003 by two couples of friends, Pinino wines are conceived in a modern key, designed not only for an increasingly demanding public but also for the international market, offering a contemporary, dynamic and vibrant style.

However, innovation does not mean forgetting or setting aside the ancient winemaking tradition of Montalcino. In fact, the winery strictly follows the guidelines of the “Consorzio del Brunello” in all stages of production, from cultivation to ageing. This results in wines of great charm and territorial expression, such as the classic Brunello di Montalcino Pinino and Rosso di Montalcino, obtained from a meticulous selection in the vineyard and aged in oak barrels according to local tradition.
