CHÂTEAU LASCOMBES
Founded in the 17th century, Château Lascombes is located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, and currently has just under 120 hectares of vineyards, planted with merlot, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot, with vines aged on average 35 years. Passing from hand to hand, and now belonging to a large French insurance company, Château Lascombes is the largest wine estate of the AOC of Margaux, and produces a range of high quality labels. The cellar premises, expertly restored, are based on the use of gravity, while for ageing French oak barrels are used. Managed by the famous wine consultant Michel Rolland, Château Lascombes, Grand Cru Classé since 1855, has been synonymous with Bordeaux's highest excellence for centuries. The wines are rich, ample, complex, refined and elegant in every smallest organoleptic nuance.
